Solar Energy Powered Buildings
- Decentralised production
- Free electricity
- Airco efficient: the sun powers your airco
- Low maintenance
- Zero CO2 emission
- Zero pollution
- For individual houses, buildings, schools, hotels, offices,
Energy Battery Storage
Solar power is free, clean and quiet, but it is not available all day round. When there is no sun, during the night or on cloudy days, we need a backup power source. This backup comes from batteries that are charged with surplus solar power during the day.
- Off-grid power supply
- Around-the-clock power
- Self-sufficient buildings
- Maintenance-free
- Covers night hours of electricity needs
- Replaces noisy and polluting generators
- Scalable for individual houses, buildings, schools, hospitals, villages, ...
Agrivoltaics: combining agriculture and solar energy
Land is limited and valuable, that's why it is often a difficult choice how to use this asset, production of food or production of energy. Both are essential commodities. With Agrivoltaics making a choice is no longer necessary: both can be realised on the same surface. The farmer can not only sell his crops, but also generate an extra income from the solar panels on his land.
- Double use of valuable land
- Reduced need for irrigation water thanks to less drying of soil
- Many crops produce higher yield when protected from direct sunheat at the hottest part of the day.
Micro Hydro Power
Water power is a very stable source of energy that is, unlike solar power, available day and night. With a Micro Hydro Power installation, a smal part of the river is deviated to a turbine, wich is set in rotation by the water pressure, producing electric power. After passing through the turbine, the deviated water rejoins the main river.
- Small-scale, off-grid energy production
- Free energy 24 hours a day
- Low maintenance, turbine life time 30 years
- Zero ecological impact
- For large buildings and communities up to 180 houses
- Required water level difference minimum 1,5 meter
- Required water flow minimum 1000 liter/second
Ecological modular houses
Modules are fabricated with high precision in the factory, transported to the destination and assembled with minimal work on site. They have a flexible, expandable layout, in single or multiple levels.
- Family houses and apartment buildings
- Low cost
- Pre-fabricated modular
- Short construction time
- Easy to relocate
- Durable (+25 years without maintenance)
- 100% recyclable
- Natural disaster proof (earthquakes, hurricanes, floods)
Waste Management
Waste Management is een essential element for the quality of life of a society and the natural environment. Without proper waste management, we would be living in our own dirt. To have clean cities, healthy air to breath and pure water to drink, we need to realise a complex set of steps, that all have to interact together to come to the proper result.
- Prevention & reuse
- Pre-sorting by citizens
- Collecting
- Industrial sorting
- Recycling
- Incinerate unrecyclable waste to energy
Waste Water Treatment
scale plants for cities
Cities produce more sewage water than the natural cleaning capacity of the rivers, lakes and sea can handle. Large water treatment facilities mimic and accelerate the natural processing of sewage water, with bacteria that convert dirty water in clear water that can safely be released in the river or used for irrigation.
Clean rivers
Clean coast water
Disease prevention
Small scale installations
Buildings that are not connected to the city sewage system, can be equipped with their own water cleaning system.
For houses, buildings, schools, restaurants, hotels, shopping malls, …
Gravitational, no pumps or electricity needed
10 years maintenance free
99% water purification, suitable for irrigation
Atmospheric water generation (AWG)
Fresh and clean drinking water is crucial for our health. Wells, rivers and rain water are often polluted with bacteria and chemicals, making it unsuitable to drink. Atmospheric water generators produce clean water directly from the humidity in the air, using free solar energy. Triple filters eliminate bacteria, virus, particles and pollutants that might be present in the surrounding air.
Clean, filtered water also enhances the taste and odor, making it more enjoyable to drink. AWG is both more cost-effective and environmentally sustainable compared to bottled water, reducing expenses and plastic waste.
Safe drinking water
Fresh local production, no distribution costs
For individual houses, offices, schools, hospitals, ...
Cheaper than bottled water
Avoiding plastic waste from bottles
Electric vehicles
Electric vehicles contribute to a higher quality of life, especially in overcrowded cities. Fossil fuel burning vehicles are noisy, smelly and costly. Electrifying motorbikes can highly enhance this situation in many large cities in the world.
- Passenger motorbikes
- Delivery motorbikes
- Cargo motorbikes
- Battery swapping network
Solar cooking
A parabolic mirror captures sun rays and concentrates them in one hot spot. Ideal for rural communities, replacing charcoal and wood cooking.
PROS
Cook without wood, charcoal, fuel, gas or electricity
No fuel costs
Reaches quickly temperatures up to 200 °C
Produces no waste or pollution
Saves trees
Maintenance free
CONS
Requires direct sunlight
Does not function at night or when cloudy
Requires outdoor open space
Can heat only one cooking pot at the time
